She was never separate from the earth—only moving within it.

She Was Bound to the Earth

This collection is a reflection of being deeply held—rooted in the earth, yet in constant movement.

She Was Bound to the Earth emerges through an intuitive, embodied process where I surrender to the canvas rather than control it. Each piece is created in rhythm with energy and season, allowing forms to surface, dissolve, and reconfigure in their own time.

Soft, earthy palettes carry the work—muted greens, layered neutrals, and grounded tones—interwoven with raw, expressive marks. Paint is splattered, dragged, and released, creating a dialogue between delicacy and disruption. Organic shapes echo fragments of foliage, growth, and natural memory, yet nothing is literal. Everything is felt.

There is a quiet strength within these works. A sense of presence that doesn’t demand attention, but holds it.

Working at a large scale and often on natural canvas, these pieces are designed to anchor a space—to bring a grounded, living energy into the environments they inhabit. They invite stillness, while carrying depth, movement, and an untamed undercurrent.

This collection honours the tension between softness and power, between being held and becoming.

Each work stands as its own presence—imperfect, expressive, and deeply connected.
